Cookie policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Ediners does not set cookies — not our own and not anyone else's. Instead, the site uses your browser's local and session storage for a short, fixed list of things it needs to work. Nothing here tracks you across other websites.
What we store and why
| Name | Where | What it does | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ediners.age | Local storage | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so we do not ask on every page. | Until you clear site data | Essential |
ediners.age (this tab) | Session storage | Keeps the “adults only” screen in place for this tab if you said you are under 18. | Until the tab closes | Essential |
ediners.consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional storage. | Until you clear site data | Essential |
ediners.accounts | Local storage | Accounts created on this device: name, email, date of birth, hashed password and hashed recovery code. | Until you delete the account | Essential (members) |
ediners.p.<id> | Local storage | Your play profile: balance, level, Punch Card, Order Tickets, favourites, last 60 rounds and safer play settings. | Until you delete the account | Essential (members) |
ediners.session | Local or session storage | Keeps you logged in. Saved in local storage only if you tick “Keep me logged in”. | Until you log out | Essential (members) |
ediners.since, ediners.since-played, ediners.reminded | Session storage | Time and tokens played this visit, for play reminders. | Until the tab closes | Essential (members) |
ediners.tries | Local storage | Counts failed log-in attempts to pause guessing for five minutes. | Cleared after a good log-in | Essential (security) |
ediners.prefs | Local storage | Lobby sort order and volatility filter. | Until you clear site data | Optional — only if you accept |
In demo mode nothing about your play is stored: practice credits live only in the page's memory.
Essential and optional storage
Essential storage is needed for the age check, for your storage choice and for accounts, so it does not need consent under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Optional storage — lobby preferences — is used only if you choose “Accept optional”. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, and the site works the same either way.
No analytics, no advertising
We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, social media plugins, tracking pixels or third-party fonts. All files are served from ediners.com.
Changing your mind
